I went up to 34%. So I assume we are all good now.

When does 33% represent a majority? Did your dd play on a team that lost 70% of its players? I don't think using nuclear missiles or the White House (which is owned by the people) has anything in comparison to kids playing soccer. You can come up with a stupid example for anything, doesn't make it right. I can say 33% of the people think it should be that but 51% say it should be higher. Majority rule! You lose!

I am definitely done. I have to go to meeting that will more than likely yield the same results as our forum.

Who said 33% represented a majority? And why does every percentage have to represent a majority of something? We aren't electing anybody. It takes 75% of the players to keep a bye when a team switches clubs. Do you think that is a travesty since it's not 50% either? You think sales tax should be 50% too?

Again! Sales tax isn't the same thing. I guess you think 70% of the people should pay for the other 30%. If 2 houses are burning down, 1 with 5 people and 1 with 25 people I guess you'd save the 5. One stupid example for another. I'm done, I've got too go feed the dog, at least he's reasonable.

I'm for whatever makes the most sense. Low taxes, saving 25 people, feeding dogs, etc.

I feel like I'm on a political forum. I never talk about religion, politics and now I think I have to add soccer.

You don't like that Stark's formerly DIII team is in DI
You don't like the 03 Superfriends taking the vacated DII spot in the 02s
You don't like that Texans Red took the DIII spot that the the club bought last year
You don't like that there is a DI team from Sting that'd take anybody who'd show up
You don't like that FWFC is rumored to be bringing back slightly more than half the team that earned the bye they have this year

With that out of the way, what DO you like about this upcoming weekend's games?

1. I like the weather forecast.

2. I like that everyone playing this weekend, earned it last weekend.

All this percentage nonsense is boring me to tears, but I do have issues with items number 1 and 3. Yes, that REALLY bothers me, but for a different reason than why it bothers my kid. She screams about that being unfair to the rest of the teams. My answer to that is suck it up, life isn't always fair, and soccer is usually not fair. But it bothers me because those girls are not ready for that level, especially Stark's D3 team now in D1. I'm sure his justification is that it "will make them better to play up." Well, I think that MIGHT work with boys and older girls. But for girls up to roughly 14, confidence is still a HUGE part of this game. That team is most likely going to lose games by large margins. It's just going to demoralize them, not make them better. I think that is flat out wrong to do to little girls.

Did it demoralize your team your first year of LHGCL freak? How many games did you win? How many goals did you score? What was your GD? Did that experience help you win D3 last year?

I think if you were able to survive with your coach, well then let’s just say the Stark team should be more than fine to rebound from what will likely be a very challenging year….but I am sure they appreciate your concern

All this whining and complaining about byes, and QT fairness, blah... blah... blah...  It's nauseating.  Enough already!!!

Man, league play can't get here soon enough so that people can start whining and complaining about stuff that really matters...
