Wired how would you know what the kids appreciate or experience? I know some girls that have been through qualifying 3 times now. Many of the DTR kids have been through qualifying twice. My daughter was fortunate that her team made it the first year, but a blanket statement that the kids do not respect the opportunity is presuming a lot. Sure I get the old adage you appreciate what you work for, but logic tells me if a kid is still playing select soccer at the U-13 level there has been blood sweat and tears.

I don't think he was talking about the kids. I am pretty sure he was talking about soccer mom

It might be totally not true. I like the sense of humor. I am thinking of posting my daughter is the best soccer player on planet earth and seeing if I can get some believers.
