U11 Girls - Dallas Premier SuperCopa G

The popular boys tournament, Dallas Premier SuperCopa, is expanding to include a girls tournament next June 12-14, 2015.  The tournament will be part of a 10-Day celebration called the SuperCopa Week to include the SuperCopa boys tournament, 3v3, Futsal, and multiple activities celebrating youth soccer.

The selection committee is in the process of identifying and inviting the 24 most competitive U12 girls teams in the nation for the SuperCopa Girls tournament.  Special invitation, an Acceptance Request Form, and the qualifying tournament (League Challenge Cup | November 22-24 |McKinney, TX) are the 3 available options to participate.

Local invitations will not go out until after the League Challenge Cup as the QT for the SuperCopa.  Here's the official message:

Teams participating in the SuperCopa G will be chosen by a Selection Committee of soccer experts who are not employees of U90C.  While SuperCopa does focus on the highest level of competition, the committee is aware the top teams in North Texas are extremely close from a competition perspective.  

The Committee also knows that these are very young athletes, so basing invitations solely on winning 1 tournament is not always the best approach.  The SuperCopa Selection Committee will attend the entire weekend of League Challenge Cup (November 21-23, 2014) and will be looking for stronger teams who play quality soccer as well as coaches, parents, and players who behave in a sportsmanlike manner.  

In order to give every team a chance to “show”, all local North Texas teams will receive their SuperCopa invitations immediately following League Challenge Cup tournament.  The Selection Committee has authority to offer as many invitations to both local and traveling teams as they feel appropriate.

How about invites for teams not from NTX. When do those go out?

Translation: We would like to make as much $$ as possible from the League Challenge Cup. So if you want a shot at getting in the SuperCopa, you'd better sign up for the Challenge Cup.
