Looks like some awesome weather for this weekends Texas Cup, much better than this past weekend's disappointments...

I really don't think WT's predictions are that far out there but disagree with them. The semifinal matchups are accurate because DTS and Pulp come out as the #1s. But I see them ending up like this:
Semi 1 - Lady Aztecs 0 vs. DTS 3
Semi 2 - Solar Pulp 2 vs. Hyypia 1
Final - Solar Pulp 1 vs. DTS 2
It is good to the other teams playing top competition but it will be a tough tournament for Sting East Gray, Sting North Blue and Sting Central Sanchez.

Semi 2 - Solar Pulp 2 vs. Hyypia 1
Final - Solar Pulp 1 vs. DTS 2
It is good to the other teams playing top competition but it will be a tough tournament for Sting East Gray, Sting North Blue and Sting Central Sanchez.

Please tell me what your prediction is based on, cause it's sure not based on recent results from DTS. I mean your saying they beat Hyypia and Pulp in the same weekend. That's a stretch. Yes they will get out of the group but they will see pulp in semis and that's as far as they make it IMO. Unless there are 7 or more of the Diaz players I don't give them much of a chance against Pulp and Lady As. It will be interesting to see how the playing time puzzle shakes out though.

While I was waiting for my DD game I saw a little bit of the Scarfone-Hyypia game. Hyypia was successful in extending the '05 division lead (is their anyone in second place?) in yellow cards by adding one near the end of the game. This "style" of play must be taught or emphasized by either the coach or at home. Too many to be a coincidence.

I don't know if it is the same player or not. Regardless, the intent was clearly there and that's why it was called. Even the Hyypia supporters didn't put up any disagreement.

Is this hyppia yellow card thing real or is someone just stirring the pot? if real, what if any repercussions are there for a team/player being deliberate about dirty play?
