Oh yea they did win. It even went to pk's. The other game was pretty good as well.

Bad officiating is an understatement...
Mystery brackets that nobody was aware of...
Fields in poor condition...

I guess the guest playing wasn't tok big of a deal. I saw a player or two here and there. Wind was crazy, but at least they got to play.

Don't get me to lying! I'm a DTS parent! I was just trying to get the conversation going. All I know is DTS beat Premiere.

One bracket had Defeeters 1st, Sting North 2nd, Sting Harr 3rd. Other bracket had Cosmos 1st, LP 2nd, Andromeda 3rd. Harr and Andromeda were out after 1st round. It is the only possible combination.

Nobody knew there were actually brackets in the Silver Division. Then it was discovered that D'Feeters, Sting North, and Sting Harr were in one while Andro, SL Cosmos, and LP Car. were in the other. Each team played the three in the opposite bracket. Then the two top teams in each advanced.

Premier had 0 guests. DTS had 2. (Congrats on a nice win)

yes

and all in all a funky tournament. They win with 2 goals outside of PK's, Andro scores 1 and goes 0-3. Feet beats Cosmos 3-0 and then Cosmos beat Sting North who was 3-0 then goes the distance with LP

Where did DTS Guests come from? Did they have a big impact?

Interesting that Premier, a usual scoring machine, was not able to score on DTS at all.

I would say the wind had more of an impact in the game than anything else. Premier didn't shoot much when they had the wind. Guest players were there because of missing players, not to change the outcome of the game. DTS played them as guest players and nothing more. And no I'm not a DTS parent.

Not sure I follow. Am I wrong to assume top players from a top team would have a more significant impact in a lower bracket? Perhaps they did not play much. That is why I was asking.

Straight to the point, I like it. We need a little more of that on here. So what if some elite players played in the silver division and they won in pk's. A certain D1 team played in silver bracket and barely squeaked by DT White 1-0 on a PK and no one seemed to notice.

also seems that no one noticed that it wasn't the only team with guest players from D1 playing in silver. This was carraghers tournament and their win. They fought hard in some very difficult games and managed to come out on top in the end so congrats to the girls. The girls from elite where there to fill in not to take over the game. Fun, extra touches and new friends.

I heard Feet had guest players from black, too. Most of the teams did. You could question Feet Grey a D3 team not being able to beat a Plano premier team with guests.
