Apparently someone is getting paid to talk about them.

They have 3 teams:
AYSES Gold - 19th out of 20 (PPL1)
AYSES Black - 7th out of 10 (PPL2)
AYSES White - 9th out of 10 (PPL3)

I guess....maybe..... if they cherry pick certain players to form a "SUPER" team...but will they do that?  It wont make the others left behind very happy... Evil or Very Mad

Yes, you did miss something -

http://www.txsoccer.net/t26201-ayses-04-girls-open-training

and apparently they have had a number of LHGCL D1, D2 and D3 players out.

What's more fun is watching Sting Springate and LP Redknap both claim to have the LHGCL BYE.

NTFC – physical and skilled, and many weapons;  tough, but not dirty;  built for qualifying

After that - ???

LP Raisbeck  - nice 1-2 punch and supporting cast

FCD Central – Goodman has done a good job, but can he continue to build (and replace) enough to make the jump?

AYSES – yep – best (un)kept secret;  if they can solidify the roster with what they are looking at, they will be tough to beat.  Lots of kids with LH experience.

Remainder

FCD White – loss of offensive component in a team that sometimes struggles to score against good competition, plus how many do they lose to FCD Premier?  In PPL, remove their 10 goal game, and they were 6th out of the top 7 in GF.  Ties won’t get you in.  Losses to Mustangs and Sparta wont help.

Cosmos – this team can score – but give up way too many.  Will be a long qualifying trip without better D

DT White – not enough left in the tank after falling out of DIII, and not enough weapons to defeat those above.  Nice style and will compete next year

Mutiny – could be a surprise.  Tough team with disappointing losses last weekend, but a win against Mustangs could be the boost they need

Where are you getting the APL numbers for Sparta? I see 6-0-1 with 19 GF and 2 GA. Not bad but you need to put it into perspective. 15 out of 19 goals were in 3 games against teams with a combined record of 3-12-5. I give them kudos for the win against Mustangs but I'd question how the 'Stangs approached that one. In general an APL team beating a LH D1 team would be the definition of a "one off game"

Sting Harr will probably make it. If you can't stop their forward from running past your defense you'll have a hard time beating them

Depending on LP movement I'd say Raisbeck is in.

And we'll have to see what this rumored AYSES "super team" is about.

Other than those it'll be about who can do best in a tournament not over a season. That's when a team like Carragher or FCD Central may suprise.

This confuses me. How does Ayses have "Lots of kids with LH experience"?

Let me guess what they were thinking when they were writing that topic up:  "I'll just leave off the PPLD1 and only put D1".......that will get peeps in! Shocked

Honestly though...it probably didn't come to their mind to be specific about which league (which i have been guilty of doing simple stuff like that and then having to later clarify it)

Apparently, Coach Rivillo has done skills with a number of LH players - now he has decided to try his hand at bringing some together to form a team.

Another interesting twist...LP Rednap/Now Sting could miss the D-2 bye because they don't hit the magic number, but go straight to LH QT if they keep enough kids and add, I would say they would probably bump several of the teams trying.

Right. The way I see it is if "We already have a strong core of DI players" meant LH, they'd already be in LH..

If Sting misses the D2 bye because of the 75% rule, then I could see Raisbeck getting it in D3, assuming LP doesn't have enough for their LHD2 team advertised this morning.

I still give them credit for an undefeated season.

Not to beat a dead horse but that would mean they scored 78 goals in 14 games...5.5 goals per game. But if you say so... Rolling Eyes Rolling Eyes Rolling Eyes

As far as AYSES goes, I fully believe a number of girls from LH D1 would leave their teams to join a team at the bottom of PPLD1. Come on, makes total sense to me, why else would Elite be posting up about open roster spots.

Hey db - I don't have to say so - took it straight from APL website.

Internet is a wonderful thing - and takes about 2 minutes to find.

http://assets.ngin.com/attachments/document/0066/1023/U11G.png

Fall 2014 - 14 games, 78 goals scored

http://events.gotsport.com/events/results.aspx?EventID=38102&GroupID=407768&Gender=Girls&Age=11

Spring 2015 - 7 games, 19 goals

A little simple math . . . 21 games, 97 goals

I stand corrected. The site I was looking at didn't show their full fall season...you are right they did put the ball in the net against the bottom 3 quite a bit. 50+ goals.

Hey, I'm just giving them respect for their record - it's 11 year-old soccer and they had quite a run.

I add that to their wins over Mustangs and FCD White as well.

And yes, my guess is that in the finals of the tournament, the 'Stangs took their foot off the gas to give Sparta a chance - 'cause that's how girls play - a little "charity" work with an APL team. Rolling Eyes

Never said the 'Stangs were in their prime and Sparta took it to them - just assessed them based upon their body of work.

I also see that in the last 7 months, they lost to Tx Spirit Red 1-0 and beat LP St John 1-0 - 2 LHGCL D3 teams.

Not to discount the current team, but that win against LP St. John was without either goalie, no subs and two players on the field running fevers all while playing in the rain and mud. Our goalie in that game hadn't played the position in two years and let a mudder ball in. They should've beaten us by a larger margin, due to our limitations that game. Any given day on any given pitch anything can happen!

How does it work?

Say for some reason "DT White" does not qualify to get back into LHGCL and they want to participate in PPL.

Where do they get placed in PPL?

LH D-3 Four open spots-who gets in? - Page 2 Empty D3 who gets in / stays in

Post by 2girls 14/06/15, 12:31 am

Wow! It's amazing how much you all know about all these teams! Like who left other clubs and joined some of these clubs that you say won't make the cut. Of course I guess you also know who might have left these clubs you have already annointed new D3 members . Just as lower ranked clubs lose kids to higher ranked clubs, the inverse also occurs where clubs you're effortlessly dropping out of D3 very well could have added good players from top ranked clubs chomping at the bit to tear up the field after playing for clubs for a mandated contract season who have completely driven the fun out of the game . In my opinion .... Your guesses on who makes D3 are a complete waste of time and have absolutely no merit. Watch out for sleeping giants. And by the way ..... Remove the top 6 or 7 out of D1 and the gap between the rest of D1 all the way down the bottom of D3 is very small .... Meaning for the most part .... All this division 1, 2, 3 crap at age 11 means very little.

No need to get angry because your dds team won't make it in to d-3. There is still time to jump on one of the teams we have annoited for success.

You're right...not much left to discuss here. If your dd is on one of the "annoited" teams above she will be in d-3 next year. If not...well she better be trying to get on one of them. Case closed.

You're right...not much left to discuss here. If your dd is on one of the "annoited" teams above she will be in d-3 next year. If not...well she better be trying to get on one of them. Case closed.
Or at 11/12, she continues to enjoy the beautiful game of soccer and continues to develop without adult intervention and worrying about how much "said parent" can pound their chest about the team their DD plays on.  Who cares?  As long as the kid is playing and learning NOW cause in a few years it won't matter what happened today, only that they developed in a way that made them successful and that, generally, will have nothing to do with what League or Division they've played in.  The key is if they continue to enjoy the game without burning out and develop in a way that makes them more confident in their own skills and decision making. Then anything can happen...seen it first hand, players that didn't join club until they were 14 and did just fine getting scholarships and others that started club at 7 and burned out by 14 so they quit - which one would you rather have?  Maybe that's why parents push so hard for the "win now" scenario, cause there's a good chance their kid won't be playing soccer in two or three years.

That's a bunch of BS. This is about D-1 Scholarships...If your kid didn't hit puberty when she was nine...she's out...If she's not in LH this year...Good luck ain't gonna happen next year. NOW is the time, find the LH team with the biggest most athletic kids on it and go there NOW! Next years D-3 teams have already been chosen....seek them out now.
