So, how was this year's tournament? Did it make a miraculous comeback like Hurst Turkey Shoot?

Haven't had kids playing in it for a few years, but other than the Toys R Us medals, it seemed very well run with some decent comp this time around. Made for a nice weekend -

So nice of Bige to join us with his comments about how he liked the tournament years ago. Not really sure how that was relevant to the question.

Still largely a Plano team tourney with a couple D2 LH teams sprinkled in that won. I think one D1 team played, prob hardware hunting and a JDL team played and won but they moved up 2 age groups. Poor management and decisions have plagued this thing. What will kill it faster? Having one good team per division just smoke the weaker teams and make them not want to come back either.

Had LH D1 1st and 2nd place teams, and a LH D2 #8 with ECNL guest players in our group.

Yes and you either extremely happy your 04 team won in the 02 division or you are pissed that you lost to them.
