Definitely. Salute to these coaches
Bump!
I know Solar Red took some grief and hit on the rankings, but nobody will remember years from now (or even later this year if they rebound).

It is a given at age 9/10 that the ones that are on the top ranked teams and in ODP are the only ones that will be anything. Sorry kids that are on other teams not in the top 5, that are "athletic" and whos parents don't spend a ton of money. You might as well just give up........
Bitter much?

The ECNL Clubs recruit first from within, it's lower risk. However if they see a stand out talent on another team that is interested in joining they will recruit from outside. At least that's been my limited experience.
The extra training does help but it can't give talent to a kid that doesn't have it and it can't give hunger to a kid that doesn't care that much. If your kid wants to be juggling a ball and kicking it whether you're paying someone to tell them to do it or not they'll do fine. So at the margins money buys opportunities for excellence but so does raw effort.
Personally I get that as a parent you want to give your kid every opportunity to develop a talent you see in them. Soccer can only be one of those talents. It's easy for someone to say the journey is the destination. From struggle comes strength. Assuming you mean the "might as well give up". Give up what? There is a track to the US National team that starts at 10 and younger. That may be good, it may be bad but it's there. Things get reshuffled with the transition to ECNL. DA will be another re-set. If Soccer's your thing they'll get reshuffled again in college.
Don't give up. Just get mad, get creative, and get busy. Not easy, not fair and not as much fun but there you have it. Nobody has a golden ticket. There's just too much competition.

Thank you.
There should be more constructive post like this. Sarcasm is not helping.

I believe exhaustion from having two earlier in the day games, with one of them being against Sting Black, just wiped them out, they are 10 year olds after all.
I can guarantee that when red plays fuego in JDL that the results will be dramatically different.
Dramatically different?
LHGCL Tournament- Fuego 2, SR-1
JDL 2/25/17- Fuego 2, SR-1
Nothing looks different to me. Also, Fuego was playing with only 1 sub. Maybe SR had several other games today though, or they still didn't take Fuego seriously?
