I was wondering, is State Cup roster pure? If not, doesn't it make sense that it should be?

Looks like a rematch between TSN and DTS in the finals. Would have been nice to see the top 06 JDL teams in the State Cup.

DTS couldn't beat Solar Red or Sting Black 06 teams, but they are great at winning mediocre tournaments and leagues.

Didn't they win the Vegas Cup? Pretty sure there was more than lil LH teams in their division.

It's a shame that these girls can't just play soccer without the nasty some parents and coaches bring to the discussion. These are 10yo girls who have a love and talent for the game and regardless of affiliation, all adults should all appreciate, embrace and nourish that. Many of these girls will; move to another club, relocate, discover boys, merge with previous rivals, or quit due to pace and pressure. Not to mention a stud as a kid isn't necessarily a stud in an older body. Commentary from an adult to diminish the efforts of 10 year olds because of opposing affiliation is ugly and juvenile.

This was a good match-up and though not all LH teams are at level to play the best in the State, there are talented teams out there to shake up any league.

Good thing this site is for entertainment of the parents and for over excited team managers.

Congrats to Coach Sal and the DTS 06 players for Winning State Cup!

Going undefeated the entire season is a great accomplishment!

You guys are a very talented team and you are worthy of all accolades!!

I'll bite on your blatant attempt to troll. My DD does not play for DTS, but I know for a fact DTS is on par with Sting Black, and the records and results prove that out. Solar Red on the other hand is clearly not. DTS didn't just beat teams in LH, they dismantled teams. They lost once in 06 JDL, and the rest of their matches were lopsided wins at best or full on blowouts. Whatever their coach and parents do to keep the young ladies motivated and hungry match after match is a impressive. Let's see if any teams manage to make any progress catching them this summer, but they are clearly setting the pace.

Thank you Skeets.    I wanted to congratulate Tx Spirit for their finalist position in State Cup.   Playing in Lake Highlands gave us the opportunity to play several quality teams of which TX Spirit was one.  Their players are talented  and their coach seems dedicated and to be a positive role model for them.   They could compete very well against JDL teams.  In fact they went farther in State Cup than 3 JDL teams. Keep up the good work Tx Spirit!!!!

This is discussion and behavior our daughters should witness from us. It's good for the sport and it's success and for our children.
On opposing benches yesterday, recognized as worthy players today.
So many of these girls will find themselves on the same bench in the future, club, HS or college, just sayin'

Sting Black - won Surf Cup and Jefferson Cup, which I believe are two of the largest tournaments nationally, in dominating statement.  SB only allowed 1 goal the entire surf cup tourney and I think 3 in Jefferson Cup. In addition, SB won Super Copa.

Sting Black played in JDL and has gone undefeated with one tie in league play with two games left.

Sting Black has played DTS twice and won both 4-2. Although The first time game was a long time ago.

To be clear, I posted congratulating DTS 06 giving them respect that they deserve!

So what have learned from this lesson?

Thanks for clearing that up Skeets. I agree Sting Black dominated DTS and, clearly, DTS ran away from having to play Sting Black or Solar Red (Bigger, Faster, Stronger) so they could harvest more points and try to win out via points vs. quality of play.

If you can't beat Surf SC Hawaii, then you should just move on to Volleyball. Throw away year.

They beat them 4-1 two days ago.
