Maybe PP was referring to the Solar Black & Blue team that got beat 4-1 by Spirit.

As a volleyball parent, the soccer landscape is a breeze to navigate compared to the tryout / movement / competition for north texas volleyball.

I'll bite on your blatant attempt to troll. My DD does not play for DTS, but I know for a fact DTS is on par with Sting Black, and the records and results prove that out. Solar Red on the other hand is clearly not. DTS didn't just beat teams in LH, they dismantled teams. They lost once in 06 JDL, and the rest of their matches were lopsided wins at best or full on blowouts. Whatever their coach and parents do to keep the young ladies motivated and hungry match after match is a impressive. Let's see if any teams manage to make any progress catching them this summer, but they are clearly setting the pace.
DTS & Sting Black are definitely on par with each other and stand above the 06 and even a down 05 age group because they are currently Bigger, Faster, Stronger than the rest. Before you get all defensive, some DDs may not be all 3 but for sure faster or stronger than what's out there. That's why I appreciate a Solar Red type team that plays a style of soccer that can compete on that level with inferior BFS traits. In a few years the maturity and speed will level out and you won't see some DTS or SB dominate like they are now. Already their players are quitting or moving up or switching teams. They have both had great success and won big tourneys and those are awesome memories, but I hope my DD is learning the game, technically developing and peaking mid-late high school, not at 9-10 years old. That's just me.

That "down 05 age group" just produced the 04 State Cup champion and Sting Black couldn't beat the 2nd Sting 05 JDL team this weekend. Sure those teams would beat several 05 teams (the top teams in an age group can always beat teams a year ahead of them), but let's not get too big for your britches.

Overall it is down, but that does not mean that a few teams will not perform well. Perhaps that is a testament to what that 04 Bracket looked like last weekend? SB has already moved players as well. I'll get too big for whatever I want...thanks though.

Re: State Cup
But DTS being as strong as SB is silly talk. Put them on big field and I agree with you then, but on a 9v9 field SB has experience, size and speed vs. DTS. Solar Red has smarts and plays a far more technical game. Again DTS left JDL because of the high level of play in LH? Come on...don't sell me your lies.

Again, I said some DDs were as fast but not as strong and so on. DTS is definitely faster than most clubs. Athletically, the 2 clubs are superior... for now. Landscape is already changing.

Let's talk entertainment showtime. Your "love fest" of Solar Red. Could it be because certain SR players are trying out at SB? Can't beat em join em.

Fairview, but I'm guessing you're wanting to know the tournament. League Challenge Cup, U12.

Bohdi...are you feeling neglected? What happened to your non-stop Fever promoting? You seem to have the goods on FCD and Solar JDL tryouts. Maybe can't beat em join em is your new motto? Good for you!
