I don't care if Solar won it, just admit it was a club win and move on.
Did they beef up the roster with ECNL players just before State Cup? yes.
Will they ever publicly admit to it? no.
The rosters shouldn't be difficult to find. Besides one of the mothers said they had two TCL guest players due to injuries - nothing out of the norm there. I'd hardly consider that beefing up the roster with ECNL players. If that was Grado's style he'd do it during the LH games too.
Don't comment with mindless conjecture.
Not TCL. ECNL, and several of them
You should heed your own advice, Koba. Since you have access to the internet why don't you just hop on over to LHGCL's website and view the roster and stop spewing your own "mindless conjecture!" What a joke...

Did the Solar ECNL team have games Sat and Sun this past weekend? yes.
Are ECNL players allowed to play in an ECNL game and another league or tournament game on the same day? No.
Did we win State Cup with no guest players on Sun and one TCL guest player on Sat? yes.

Re: North Texas State Cup Champions
And as far as ECNL players we added a few to the roster as back up - they were unfortunately not able to play with us for any State Cup Games as they had conflicts and injuries themselves. Which is unfortunate because we would have loved to have them as we are a Club first.
League game results mentioned earlier - who knows its 15-year-old girls playing soccer - maybe they had a sleepover or concert the night before. SMH

Rough game? yes, a broken arm and stitches for two of my girls, injuries for others, all part of the game. Solar too had their own injuries it’s all part of the game. I can’t speak for Grado but my girls are super competitive they play to win not to harm, take a look at the league standings for the past 4 years. This game is getting harder every year as it is, the last thing we need is to be tarnished with the dirtiest team in the league but people will talk and that’s ok. We respect our opponents and their supporters, the end. The ref struggled to control the game and Charles was (unfortunately) sent off as a result of trying to calm things down. Good luck to all during silly season and to Grado and his team we look forward to the next encounter and congratulations on your State Cup victory.
Looks like your team has won that title hands-down.
I'm guessing most on your team and their parents will wear it like a badge of honor.

As far as dirty play, I saw most of the game against LPE and Grado wins the dirty play award. LPE had 2 girls go to the hospital and I saw a Grado player come in hard at the LPE keeper after she had possession and give the keeper a knee to the head. LPE may have finished with more cards but the officiating in the game was terrible so I wouldn't use that as a benchmark.

Grado was stacked with pool/ECNL players from Solar, so much so that one of the players had to tape a zero on the back of her jersey in the final to change her number because they added a player for that game that had the same number as her. In addition they had extra players on the bench not suite up to play who I have seen take the field for them during league play.

guess there could be reason for protest if player truly had a taped on #.
Uniform Rules
1. Each player must wear an official uniform with a number on the back of the jersey.
2. Numbers are not required on goalkeeper jerseys.
3. Duplicate numbers or taped numbers on uniforms is not permitted.
4. Home teams wear Light colored uniforms.

Rusty, for not having any pups in this one you sure have a strong opinion. Grado was actually asked to leave the field. So, officiating was not out of sorts. There were many calls each way. #13, that unfortunately ran into LP's goalie...that was just following through on the play. She has been taken out many times due to slow defenders and is not the type of player to intentionally hurt a fellow soccer sister - regardless of what team/club. A goalie takes on a huge risk defending the ball...that's why they're such bad a$$e$! And she stopped the goal or otherwise that'd been a hat trick for #13! Oh, and the girls on the bench not suited up...were either injured longtime players for Grado or girls from his 99 team (also State Cup Champs ) that are big sisters to the 03 girls there to cheer them on to victory. The 0 was not taped on. That player has been with Grado since 3rd grade. Did you see a #6 play in ANY games? I didn't and I watched all of them.

You keeper dads are too freaky for me. Bige has been wearing me out all week for drinks. I'm tired of him wanting to dress up like a French maid all the time and you sound more freaky.

Where I take exception are classless actions of coaches. In the finals, I saw the Grado coach pull one of his players after a bad play and physically push her down the bench to sit down. This along with histrionic negative outbursts at his players during the 1st half made him automatically earn a spot in the never will he coach my daughter list. Why do parents stand for that crap? The LPE has been on that list for years.
Congratulations Grado on the win.
