Looking at all of the scores, it looks like all of the teams were evenly matched, the PPL, Classic D2, and Classic D1 teams. Perhaps the heat played a part in this.

It was pretty hot. The boys did well fighting through the heat.
FCD Premier looked good with the addiction of the DA players. You can tell they have played together and had chemistry. They tied Solar Deleon and and lost to FCD West.
FCD West tied Solar Deleon and beat FCD Premier. FCD West looked one demential focusing on their big fast forward.
Solar Deleon looked strong tied both FCD West and FCD Premier.
All three of these teams will do extremely well this year

I was impressed with the effort I saw from all the teams in the heat. I was surprised kids could make 50 or 40 yard sprinting runs and seemed to recover OK. I got dizzy walking from the car to the field during the 3:30 games in the 110 degrees.
Two water breaks a half was necessary but it broke up the rhythm of the games quite a bit. I am not sure you can take away much from these games other than the kids got through them and coaches hopefully learned a little about the new players on many of these teams.
