BVB 06G Premier

BVB 06G Premier is adding to their roster.  The team just completed their 5th year in Girls Classic League.  They will be playing in GCL Division 1 for the 21-2022 year, and Frontier Conference PRO.  The team will compete in the South Carolina Regionals in June 2021.

Practices are on Tuesday and Thursdays at either The Branch in Carrollton or the BVB Training Grounds in Carrollton.  For weekly updates, please contact the team manager.

The team is also looking to add 1 GK to the roster as well.

Coach's Background
Coach Kevin has an A Coaching license and has played on the U.S. Men’s National Team and earned an international cap. He played professionally for twenty years. Kevin is best known in the Dallas area for his successful career as a popular midfielder with the Dallas Sidekicks from 1984-1998 where he earned several awards including Defensive Player of the year, and Player of the Year. Kevin was also named team captain. His Number 10 jersey was prominently retired in 2000 in an honorary ceremony at Reunion Arena.

Kevin was the Director of Solar Soccer club for 25 years where the club became an inaugural member of the United States Development Academy. Kevin has coached in 5 National Championships with one National Championship title. His teams have won many distinguishing honors including but not limited to; State Champions, Regional Champions, National Champions, Dallas Cup Champions and champions in both Surf Cup and Disney Showcase.

Kevin was named 2008 National Coach of the Year.  In 2012, The U.S. Soccer Development Academy named Kevin Smith as the U15/U16 Central Conference Coach of the Year. With Kevin’s guidance and coaching ability, many of his players have earned prestigious college and university scholarships and he has coached multiple players who have gone on to professional careers regionally, nationally and internationally.

Coach Kevin is the Director of Player Development & ECNL/NPL Staff. His girls teams have maintained at the top of Division I in GCL for the past couple of years since joining BVB, with his 06G team winning the Frontier Conference and qualified for the Southern Regionals in June 2021.

We are looking for a couple of field players and a GK.
