Well, for those of you who feel that the 07 age group is beneath your admiration or your children's time, feel free to remove yourselves from our age group's forum. It's cute that you believe you can look at a kid (or team or entire age group) at age 9/10 and think it tells you what the future holds for them. (By "cute," I mean naieve, arrogant, and idiotic.)

The only real idiocy in our age group lies with classless coaches who feel it is appropriate to wear a t-shirt with a former player's dad's photo on it, complete with a derogatory message. At practice. In front of his players. I'd rather have a coach instruct a dirty jersey pull than stoop to that.

Coaches and parents alike: our kids are watching you. They are learning from you. Please remember that their time on the pitch is short, even if they play through college. There are bigger lessons to be learned than how to finish off the cross.

Agreed on all except for that whole finishing off the cross thing. That will be used more than Algebra in life I am sure.

The main topic on this thread is that kw is a thug that doesn't teach soccer but prefers asssault and battery. As stated earlier all opponents should make an effort to film their games with this team.

No rumble, but one team's parents had items other than water in their coolers. They were pretty vocal by the second half, but nothing got out of hand.
