ECNL 04 Girls Week 4
ECNL 04 Girls Week 4
Anyway, big rematch weekend here as we have a few good ones on the schedule!
11:00 AM - FC Dallas at Home vs D'Feeters. Feet are on a roll lately taking down Sting Black and Sting Royal. I suspect Feet pulls out the W 2-1 over FCD. Obviously this is the game of the week (again). Should be a great one!
1:00PM - Texans at home vs OK Celtic. Celtic is struggling to keep the ball out of the net and I suspect the athleticism of Texans will be too much for OKC. Suspect Texans wins 3-0
2:30PM - Solar hosts TSC and expect this will be a much closer affair this time around. Solar still wins 3-0
3:00PM - Albion Hurricanes hosts Sting Austin, Austin is shaping up to be a little better than people expected. Possibly new talent from Lonestar is starting to gel. Expect Albion to take care of business and flex their talent with a 2-0 victory over Sting A
3:00PM - Sting Royal vs Sting Black... Don't think this will get played
Sunday
3:00 PM Classic Elite hosts Challenge, Challenge took this game 3-1 in the 1st round, but I think CE makes it a little more interesting this time around but Challenge pulls out the W 2-1
Have a great week!

Re: ECNL 04 Girls Week 4
1. Solar- Moving to #1. They’ve been consistent in beating teams convincingly and not conceding a goal although the teams have not been top notch. Tulsa won their 3 games after dropping the first to Solar. Although Tulsa probably has more confidence coming into this one, I don’t think they can keep up with Solar. I’m thinking 5-1 Solar win.
2. Albion Hurricanes – Had to drop them a spot. Although, they still have not lost a conference game in over a year now, you can’t ignore the tie against a middle of the road team in Challenge. Albion may be sliding based on results. I expect a tougher than usual game against Sting Austin. 2-1 Albion win. Wouldn't be surprised if Sting Austin pulled off the upset.
3. FCD- I heard DKSC controlled long stretches in their last meeting and I’m expecting DKSC to take this game. 3-2. Either team winning should probably secure the #2 position in the rankings unless Albion dominates Austin Sting which I don’t expect.
4. DKSC- Secured a good win against Sting Black last week. I’m still concerned about DKSC’s defense and whether they can keep quality teams from scoring. Didn’t score many goals last week but that probably has to do with SB playing defensive.
5. Sting Dallas Black- Close loss to DKSC by playing defensively. Playing this way may keep games closer against better teams but limits your own scoring opportunities. Scoring 3 team goals in 3 games is not good (but heard the 3 goals came from the same player which is impressive.) If I were Sting Royal, I would focus on the player averaging a goal a game and take my chances with the others. Based on how SB has played the last 3 games, I expect this to be close again and win 2-0 against an overmatched Sting Royal.
*** Texans over Celtics 2-1. Challenge over Classic Elite 3-0.

The app is better than the website at times. But both are generally unreliable. The biggest issue going on right now are the lack of posting standings. The scores are getting better but still need work.
