ECNL 04 Girls Week 7

Yes, all age groups. Only Celtic will be making the trip to Houston to play Challenge and Albion.

Strange that it is ALL age groups.

It involves coaches and players on multiple teams, so I think it was just determined best just not to go this weekend.

Week 7 is upon us long circled weekend with anticipated matchup of old DA friends.

But 1st let's get to the other matches.

Sting Dallas Royal hosts Dallas Texans. I think Sting Dallas Royal carries the momentum of last weekend into this one with a win over Texans. Will be a close one but Sting wins 2-1

Challenge hosts OK Celtic... OK Celtic might have a punchers chance in this one but Challenge wins 3-0

And finally the Game of the Weekend... Solar @ FC Dallas. FC Dallas is the more battle tested team and loaded with tons of talent. I see this coming down to the wire with Solar pulling out the victory in the final 5.

OK Celtic at Albion. Albion beats OK Celtic 4-0

Texans at FC Dallas. FC Dallas wins by 4

6 weeks in minus a few reschedules including what I am hearing is the long awaited one today to be rescheduled. Covid hates soccer I am pretty certain.

#1 FC Dallas - still #1 in this weeks CSP PR. When they do match up with Solar that will be a hell of a game and I suspect Solar is the only team that can take their place at #1

#2 Solar - Took care of business last weekend and still yet to concede a goal. Suspect they might have given up one this weekend vs FCD. Can Sting Royal penetrate that D and slip it past their goalie, doubtful. Suspect Solar stays unbeaten this weekend and awaits their date with FCd to be set.

#3 DKSC - 2 impressive wins last weekend vs Albion and Challenge. They await their date vs Solar at the end of this month.

#4 Sting Black - head scratching results for Sting black this past weekend. Tie vs Challenge and W vs Albion. They have CE and Sting Austin next weekend which should give a little clearer understanding of where they stand but for now keeping them at 4.

#5 Sting Austin - I think Sting Austin has shown they have some fight and can win and tie vs good competition but not versus great competition. They need good results next weekend vs Sting B and Feet to stay in this spot.

TSC - AHFC ppd
FCD - Solar ppd

They should reschedule and make it a Three Stripes event in the spring. The last one was great.
