04 Girls - Week 7 SDL Scores

Reports are that SDL Rick needs to clean house on a ref or two. The gimp Brit was at it again by attacking parents and allowing the girls to practice their krav maga skills. Word is the nutter has been on a roll for weeks now.

Solar Kennington 04- 8
Fever 04 - 3

Game was tied at the half 2 to 2. Fever was the better team in the first half and had more shots on goal. Solar responded with 4 quick goals in the first 4 minutes of the second half and played very strong in the second half. It was a good team effort by Solar with everyone contributing and several different girls scoring goals. Possibly, the best half of soccer that Solar has played all season. I don't think anyone could have outplayed Solar in the second half.
Hats off to Fever. They are extremely talented, fast, and aggressive and will be a powerhouse in the 04 division for years to come.

The shelf life for strong academy girls teams is about 2-3 seasons. I've had em go both ways. In reality, that never changes. The only place you'll see consistent rosters is at the successful international level.

I'm Just trying to give their team a compliment which I think they deserve. I'm not trying to analyze how long academy teams stay together. As long as those girls stay together, they are going to be tough.

WOW Did not see that one coming. Rosales coming up big trying to make a statement at Texans top team. Will it save the team or will the top talent go to Rowdies? Thought they outplayed them the first time but honestly expected Rowdies to take them this time. Any details?

How on earth is this result a shocker? They are pretty even teams, and with all due respect, neither team is anything extra special. And for the life of me I'm confused why you think the best players on Rosales would go to a team they have outplayed on a big field while smashing them in 3v3? Weird.

The ref was pretty bad. He was and wasn't calling them both ways. He did yell and the parent towards the beginning of the game in regards to a goal kick. He was rude though.

Caught a couple of games, Dalglish girls stuck at it in tough game and got the win with great shot seconds from end of game. They look hard to score on.

Dt north girls did great in keeping Rowdies at zero. Rowdies just need to start passing in midfield bit more. Just my opinion,

I would agree. Daglish pushed forward and had plenty of opportunities but could just not make anything happen. As it came down to the end the girls pushed even harder. At one point 6 were in the attacking half trying to get shots off. It almost seemed like the keeper was going to run up and try to put one in. Kudos to the coach for sticking to his sub rotations too and not just going for the win. Easy to say develop when you are winning not as easy with the game on the line. Didn't see the Rowdies game but passing is an issue. Can DM fix it either thru personnel or training? Losses certianly don't help and make it tougher to recruit. Right now Rosales is staking a claim as the top texans team.
