Will teams like Dalglish or Kennington try to add to their roster for Fall or will they go with the girls they already have? Just curious.

I'm not sure if anyone will be able to catch Dalglish. Liverpool has more girls to choose from and continues to grow rapidly. Meanwhile, other clubs struggle to keep enough girls to have one team in this age group.

You are probably right. Dalglish is incredibly strong through the middle including their GK. Would LW be open to new players?

If a coach is happy with his U7 squad and does not allow others to come out and takes spots or add, then that is a team that will struggle once they go select.

If a parent wants to look now and does not they will only kick themselves in the butt later. Again a question not asked is always no.

Pretty rough on the kids that get cut though.

Yes it is.. But as a parent if I go to a team you want the coach to teach the girls and make choices that is best for the team. If you do not have girls and parents who are in it as you are you have a problem. As the girls get older it is not about a social event, it is about the game win or lose the girls know who is committed and who is not.

I would think LW would always be open to girls coming out. You have to remember he has 2 04 teams (Dalglish and Beardsley). And I'm telling you Beardsley might be his number 2 team in name, but you add 1 or 2 good players to this team and they would give Dalglish a run for there money! Anyone who watched the Beardsley vs Solar Kennington game knows that Beardsley is almost there! Also, Dalglish will be playing 9v9 next year so they might add 1 or 2 players in my opinion.

Will they play U7 tournaments this summer? Would be good to see how their peers stack up to them.

Beardsley yes.....Dalglish no! If their peers want to play Dalglish they will have move up to 03 Division in tourneys.

Interesting, I mean I understand why LW would do that but wouldn't it be nice for the girls to win a tournament? I know their development is primary but they are just kids after all and every kid likes a medal.

Who says we won't win a tourney? We are playing in like 4 tourneys....I like our chances of at least winning a medal(1st-3rd) in one of them! Are you already counting us out?

I think y'all might well cause a few surprises but Dalglish would be a powerhouse in U7. unlike some of the critics on this forum I've watched some of your games and can see an actual "team" as opposed to some individuals dominating less-skilled girls. IMO if LW adds couple more strong girls y'all may actually be too competitive for 03 Division 2 teams! I see far more technique in some of your DD's than a lot of other girls, some down to natural ability and some I would guess coaching.

But don't come on here and pretend to be a parent from another team that just "happens to love everything about Dalglish." And do you really have to put down other teams and players to feel better about your own team?

I still haven't forgotten about your post a couple of weeks, when you blamed the DT North Coach for the Dalglish loss in the 3v3 tournament. Did you forget about that? Here is the exact quote from your post (when someone didn't rank Dalglish first).

There is not too much between Dalglish and Kennington IMO with Rowdies just behind.
My DD plays D1 04 for one of the "weaker" teams and we have buddies at Dalglish and Kenn so we've seen a lot of both.

Wow! Somebody is bitter! I believe I have the right to have an opinion and it is that Dalglish is a very good team, so are Kennington. I am not a Dalglish parent, my DD would not be able to play on any of the top 04 teams, she is not aggressive enough. If you're so worried about my opinion let me know and I'd be happy to critique your DD's team!
You're wrong about Rosales, he did walk behind the goal whilst PKs were being taken. Were you there SuperSoccer?

I believe daglish, dt south, kennington, and possibly rowdies could all realistically win a medal in many 03 silver division tournies.
