that may be 1-0 in the books--but that was not a sting win. The goal they scored was SOOOOOO Offsides it wasn't even close. The Primetime league had no linesman on the side where the action was that led to the goal..and the goal scorer was literally 10 feet offside when the pass was made. Combine that with the most lazy ref anyone has ever seen and the goal should never have been. It was so bad that when the ball went in everyone (including the sting parents) were silent..everyone knew it was offsides. Just a horrible low-rent league when you have that bad of a ref and no linesman on one side.

That said it was a fun game to watch other than that. Two very evenly matched groups of girls who played a hard, clean, fun game. Too bad the league/ref determined the result

I agree with you. A kid was a linesman on one of the fields. He was really struggling to make the right calls. Primetime has got to do better next week.

Although the SRSA vs FCD Premier game was a blow out, the one positive thing I saw in the game was there was no Katt Webb style of MICROMANAGING of the game....pass it here...send it there....put it over the top to her....that is constantly been yelled from her sideline. Colvin actually was letting his players make their own decisions. While it might not look it now during the teams transition....it will serve them better going forward! That's just my opinion of the game...so hold down the fort SRSA and don't panic...stay the course....give it time....everyone knows you have the athletes!

Matt is an excellent coach. He will have these DD's playing outstanding futbol in a matter of time.

I have also heard directly from the parents that 3 Rowdies/Texans(2 starters) will be coming to join him very soon, assuming he allows them to come to practice and try out.Dont know what this will do to the Higgy team, but should make things interesting. He has done a little recruiting and have them convince grass is greener (or will be greener)with Kat gone.

I'm not sure they have made the coach aware of their plans just yet- so I wont name postions.Also I have only attended a few of their games since I also have a dd who plays, so I could be off on the correct postions. I just know a group has been unhappy and is looking for a change-they would not have played for Kat -just wasnt the coach for them, but now with the coaching change are thinking about a move to do the best thing for their dd.

There is always drama when parents are determined to hitch their wagon to a top team instead of playing their way to the top. I heard the exact opposite that as many as 5 SRSA players were going to try out with DT Higg. Interesting stuff. Where the hell is the web cam at these practice fields? We need live coverage.

I definitely agree. SRSA is undergoing transition right now. They definitely have some great talent, but they need a balanced attack. Two or Three great players can't win against good teams like FCD. they are definitely missing a few pieces. In time, they will get there......
