I hear that U15 Placeholder has a very deep squad. I sure am glad they are not in the DD's bracket.

Rockwall FC RFC Hotspurs was misclassified and removed from the bracket. The other teams only have 2 games now.
Duncan said there is not another team to slot in there.

Well that is either a help or hindrance to the bracket teams.

I am just curious as to why Bracket A wouldnt get the FORFEIT/BYE team and everyone elses seedings get pushed down one spot.

OK, I was finally able to open the tournament rules. You guys are right (but I am not sure that having a second round is the best solution). Sorry that my scenario was off base.

Well we know it isn't because they used a pre-seeding tournament. ;_)

They did not seed like in the past where they used league finish for seeding or at least did not use that solely. Guessing they may have used league finish, number of player changes on roster and perhaps other criteria.

Based on the brackets posted, below is my guess of seeding order used. I see 3 things that seem odd. Gunners and Flash should be reversed but this is minor. Sporting and Lonestars should be reversed but this is minor. Liverpool Keegan would appear to be the most obvious being mis-seeded unless they lost a bunch of players or something. Given the roster they had, I would put them in with the top 6 or 7 teams in this list.

If they are considering Meja a "New" team, I think LH must've used GotSoccer rankings to some degree to do their seeding.  They could've even seeded Keegan higher considering their showing at recent tournaments, etc, but probably gave more credence to the division in Plano, that's why they got a lower seed.  But this is just my two cents....  Gonna be a good tourney, Keegan might be the dark horse of the bunch!

I think that Bracket A is a really tough bracket. Two teams from LH (the top non-returner and a "new" team, Meja which has decent results recently...the aforementioned Keegan and a retooled and healthy Silver. The two teams that come out of that group will be battle-tested.

Then again, all the teams are solid, and all the brackets tough...this is the QT. Just think all 4 there are going to be gutty and the games should be tight.

With bracket C only having 3 teams it seems a little unfair that all you have to do is finish 2nd or better and you're not eliminated and move on the week 2. In  Bracket C you only need to beat 1 team to most likely move on (one team goes 2-0, one goes 1-1 and one goes 0-2) or even just tie one but score more then the other team or give up less (one team 2-0, one team 0-1-1 and the other 0-1-1). someone without a win could move on in the bracket. This seems like a much easier task then being in a 4 team bracket and having to most likely win 2 to move on.

Hi Sport, I guess that is where the two-weekend rule works for the best. Even if the winner and runner up in Bracket C make it through easier, they will be playing different teams on the second weekend and a three game situation.

You can also look at it that you have no room for error.  All three teams could go 1 - 1 and someone is not going through.  In my opionion there is no more of an advantage in being in the bracket of three.
