You can also look at it that you have no room for error.  All three teams could go 1 - 1 and someone is not going through.  In my opionion there is no more of an advantage in being in the bracket of three.

Well, tomorrow is the start of the qualifying. It will be interesting to see how the first games play out.

Meja East is not a new team.  All we did was change the word from "united" to "east."  We have maintained over half our roster.  Our seeding placement has left us scratching our heads wondering why seeding was not done based on last year's final standings, which it clearly states in the rules and by-laws.

Again, the other brackets all have at least 2 teams in the top 8...and pretty much any of those teams can show up and beat any other, it is just that A has 4 of the top 10 IMO.

Seems like it would be possible.

I believe that 2 LH spots go to Bracket A.
Brackets; B, C and D will be competing for the other 2 LH spots.
There may be some upsets.
But whichever teams come out on top will have earned their rightful places.

I wonder if this rule for byes applies to seeding as well?

b) A team within a club that changes names will be considered the same team as the previous year for purposes of retaining a Bye, except as outlined in 2a above, as long as the name change is reported to the league by a club official (President, DOC, Executive Director, Club Administrator, etc.) that it is a name change only within the same club and the team retains the club’s name. Anyone want to guess who the four additions will be before a game is played? No disrespect to anyone as I truly think at least half the field has a good shot. I will guess

I doubt this is how it will be...just guessing for fun so please no one be offended. Several other teams will be just as good and sometimes unlucky things happen (we know about that).
