Waco 3-1 over Sting.
Sheer size and speed won this game. Waco was way more physical and definitely wanted the ball more. 1rst half Waco had more chances to score. Halftime score was 1-0 Waco. Waco never put more than 2 passes together. Just kick the ball up to speedy forward and see what happens. Also any time center mid got the ball within 40 yrds of goal she sent it to the net. Sting did pass the ball better than Waco but always got gobbled up by fast defenders. Shots were pretty even in second half. Good match-up.

Solar East Barnes 3
LP Beardsley 1

It was 3-0 at half (2 silly mistakes by LP defense and an awesome shot by Solar), but LP changed some things up and came out more aggressive in the 2nd half!

Srsa 4-1. Over dynamo
Srsa passed better than dynamo. Srsa goalie only touched the ball 2 times in first half. One was to stop a pk. Only goal for dynamo was on a pk in first half. Srsa is on a roll. Look for them to be on the rise. The little 03 girl didn't hurt a bit.

Srsa borrowed missimo 03's star player to beat dynamo. Missimo 03 is by far the best 03 team in dallas and she is their best player. She played basically entire game even tho Srsa had lots of subs - looked like 16 or 17. She scored 3 and dominated play. Without her Srsa loses. Dynamo did not score on Pk but rather excellent strike over keeper far post. Dynamo missed Pk. Wonder how Colvin keeps parents happy.

Waco forward knows how to finish. Wow, she is a handful and calm on the clinical shot.

watched this game. SRSA controlled the ball way better than Dynamo. Dynamo had 2 scoring chances- they hit a great one for a score and did not miss a pk but it was a bullet that was stopped by the keeper. That 03 is the best 02 player in my eyes.

Fcd 4 - 1 dt south

DT South with a much better showing than the game a few weeks ago. Possession was 50/50 in first half, 60/40 FCD in second. DT probably had 5 good chances and defended well. FCD had two pulled out of the net for offsides. All in all, great win for FCD because DT South played so much better.

I assume you are talking about Missimo's daughter...what is the point in that? If you can't win without a ringer from some other team, you don't deserve the win. That is total chicken****. I have no affiliation with either team (although I am a big fan of dynamo), but that should not be allowed by PT. Play with your roster, especially in games like today.

Sorry but I think that is cowardace. If a kid is "looking" at your team or you validly have SEVERAL players hurt or out, then ok, get a sub, but bringing in some stud to win a game. Total crap in my book. Parents should be pissed...the win doesn't belong to their girls, they were cheated out of finding out if they really had what it takes to beat Dynamo.

Alright...off my soap box now. I'm gonna call my dd's coach and see if we can get some studs over for our game now Twisted Evil

Pot stir much with inaccurate facts??. 03 didn't start either half and scored 2 goals not 3. I would be more concerned that Dynamo only let the SRSA goalie touch the ball once and that was from a PK. Didn't touch the ball the entire second half. SRSA had a starter out sick, and another that was sick all week and didnt play near as much as usual. Should be interesting going forward, but Colvin group is playing better and better each week.

This was a worldclass dumba$$ move by Matt Colvin. Who cares about one W? Derek Missimo is all too happy getting a chance to show off his kid in the 02 league. The price is a WTF??? from Colvin's current parents. Worldclass dumb. Win one battle but lose the war? Wonder if Higg's phone is already ringing. DT South had a similar situation today. They could have showed up with some Higg girls on bench. They didn't. Didn't win but played hard and made a game out of it. Bravo South.

Put yourself in DM's shoes for a minute. Your dd is this talented, awesome soccer player who is stagnant in the 03 division, there is no competition in the 03 league for her and she has reached her best potential in this 03 league. So as her parent, what the hell do you do to continue her growth? Allow her to participate in opportunities like today's game, RIGHT? Seriously people get a CLUE!

I have no dog in this hunt... This is one good way to get this talented '03 some challenging experience... but come on. How long is she going to be able to do this? One or two games? Is this top '02 team going to let her play in the upcoming tournies? Probably not. They need to get prepared for QT and this '03 will not be able to play with the '02s next year. So... is this coach going to hold a roster spot for her during the tournies when he can be trying out some players or preparing the ones he has for the QT?

I believe on the next field it was

Congrat Renfro on your win. Heard it was a fantastic game (wish I could have seen it). Both coaches are top notch individuals and both teams play each other well...always a great battle when these two meet. And all without guest players Smile

We worry about what a child will become tomorrow, yet we forget that she is someone today.

What a bunch of horse malarkey. If what you said were true...she would have been playing with them all year...not just during one championship game. Hey...I love the Colvin is turning this team around to much better soccer...great for them. Just think what he did today was a really bad move. Wouldn't fly if he were my dd's coach.

Saints 1 Sting East 0

Sting started off stronger but no clear chances but then Saints got into game and several long shots at goal. Saints scored nice goal shortly after on through ball. Second half was dominated mainly by Saints but shots went straight at keeper. Sting had 2 great chances to equalize in last 5 but overall Saints deserved win, just more aggressive but still played good soccer.

What if Mossimo asked Colvin, "Hey, this is your last game for spring season, can my dd play this last game because she isn't getting much competition in 03? It is a game for 3rd place. What do you think"? Colvin thinks, "Hmmmm...this little girl is very good and is quite possibly the best player to come along in awhile....maybe we should let her play. This might be her last chance for a little over a year to get some really good competition before the 02's go select. Yes she can play!"

I'm sure the last thing on Colvins mind was what Dynamo's parents would think. Did she give your dds team a good game? Yes! Isn't that what we want..for our dds to get good competition and the game to be challenging? Yes! I bet not one of Dynamo's players came off the field saying, "that's not fair, they used the stud 03 SRSA player and beat us! Only people that care are the parents. My dd has played in enough blowouts that I wish the 03 SRSA player played against us everytime. I want to see a good competetive game !
