QT - Round 2 Empty Re: QT - Round 2

Post by Soccer-Fan 29/07/14, 02:53 pm

Hmmm...what did FCD Black & White do to tick off the Rnd 2 Scheduler? The window of time from the start of their first game to the start of their last game is 20.5 & 21.5 hours (respectively)...while four other teams get to play their games over a window or 38.5-40 hours.

I realize that everything can't be perfect, but giving half the teams 40 hrs to play three games...and others about HALF that time to do the same doesn't quite seem fair. Who wouldn't take an extra 20 hours of rest???  Question

You would figure FCD WTX may face that rather than two local teams

FCD black and FCD white should be grateful they are in the pool they are in. Neither would stand a chance of qualifying out of the other pool. Keegan, holder, and daglish are definately 3 of the top 4 in this tournament, and probably the top 3

Who did Keegan, holder and daglish play in qualifying that made them the top teams. It doesn't look as they had a very tough schedule and didn't holder lose a game? So why should fcd black and fcd white be grateful, they got there just like every other team.

I would agree. If I had my choice Bracket B would most definitely NOT BE IT. But that's just my opinion

All 8 of these teams are good teams and capable of competing, so I won't make predictions. The teams in bracket B put up a lot of goals last weekend. I predict all of the keepers are going to be busy in that bracket, having Keegan, Defeeters and Holder competing.

Daglish played- Sparta Fc red, Andromeda, & Solar FC Royal= won 2 tied 1 and didnt get scored on

Holder - Fever United Penn, Quest FC & FC Dallas Red= won 2 and lost 1

Keegan- Kosmos FC, NTX Reign & Liverpool Owen = Only team that won all 3 games. & didnt get scored on

FCD white and black only won 1 game, tied 1 and lost 1

All 3 teams(holder, Keegan and dalglish) are very good teams. Keegan and dalglish both played teams in qualifying that have had very poor records lately. Holder in my opinion one of the strongest teams, had 1 loss and played 2 other very poor teams. My point is that every team won the right to be in qualifying and you better not drop your guard on anyone. Soccer is the only sport you can dominate 90% of the game and come out with a lose.

It'll soon be over! Looks like fever is in and it's going to be tough for Keegan too be knocked out. Everyone better fight hard today or go home disappointed.

Congrats to Fever, FCD White, FCD WTX and D'Feeters

Interesting that the two teams from Bracket B and E from round 1 end up qualifying

Congratulations to all the teams that made Lake Highlands. We went out to see some friends play and saw some quality games. I wish there were more spots open because most in the final 8 would would prove to be competitive in D3.

I thought the defeeters were a better team then their record last year. Glad they got back in to LH. I think holder and feet will be the teams to watch, along with Andromeda, who is always a good competitor.

Andromeda didn't get in, so why are they a team to watch. I think I would be worried about the team that ended up with the most points. Fever was the only team that didn't lose a game and only had 1 goal scored on in 2 weeks. D'feeters are a very good team, but last year was very inconsistent in d3. So maybe watch out for andromeda next year.
