McDaniel vs. The Kicks - Should be a great early season matchup. I'm giving the edge to Solar 3-2.

Silver A- FWFC wins in convincing fashion. This is a team I was expecting to push themselves by playing Gold, but can't knock them for not wanting to test those waters just yet.

Silver B - pick em

Borussia, Cobra_Kai, all Tulsa posters, The Dude, Swingit, Guest, and all other 06 soccer fans... you all are on the clock.

I'm going with D'feeters to win silver A

Love your prediction 004tulsa! I hope our TSC girls make it that far. Below are my predictions.

I have Kicks Selecao winning it all, but not having ever seen them play I am heavily influenced by their de facto #1 ranking that everyone on here keeps talking about.

I can't imagine 3 from bracket 3 making it through.

I'd say realistic is a stretch in most cases, but with some stacked brackets like we see in 04g gold & 06g gold it could happen.

Really depends on the matchup more than anything.

It would take points, lots of points. I dont see lots of points in the dogfights that are about to happen.

Im wrapping ankles, wrists, knuckles, etc... On my DD for this weekend.

That was my point, I'm not even looking at bracket C (although I agree), I meant in theory. If there is a A, B & C bracket, what would the scores look like in the other brackets in order for 3 teams from the same bracket to advance? 1 team mops the floor & the rest all have 0-0 ties? I think the best way it can be described is "so you're saying there is a chance!"

Sorry Futbol, The Dude isn't trying to avoid the question.

My prediction is very simple, I agree w/the Superfans from SNL. After winning the Indy 500 driving Da Bears team bus earlier this year.. Ditka cruises into this championship and wins 31 to -7.

PS.. while lounging in a recliner the entire game.

If Ditka were to skip this tourney.. I say Selecao over McDaniel.

Unless I am missing something, the tournament setup will automatically have 3 teams from 2 of the pools.
3 pools with 1 & 2 from each pool and 2 wild cards with next highest points. Hence the wild card teams will be the 2 third place pool finishers with the highest points.
Maybe I am not understanding your question about 3 teams from one pool advancing?

I thought he meant to say both wild card teams from same bracket.

It isn't automatic that the 2 wild cards must be from separate brackets, it just almost always happens that way.

Our manager(FWFC) said she requested gold.....and she made a request to be moved into gold after the schedule was posted. So we tried... Laughing

i personally would rather have my kid lose every game and play the best teams rather than play in a lower bracket.

My prediction is that the two wildcards come from Bracket 1 and Bracket 3 and that they alter the seeding so that the quarterfinals don't have a rematch between 2 teams from Bracket 1.

I figure if Bracket 3 is going to be a dogfight then there could potentially be a near 3 way tie in points in Bracket 3 leading to the third place team from that bracket having more points than one of the other third place finishers who was likely more outmatched by their competition and thus fewer points.
