FCD /Rowdies was one of the best 02 games I have seen, exciting game to watch , great co,mpetetion back and forth. FCD had better possesion overall, but Rowdies had more scoring oppty.Rowdies got lead in first half. FCD goal was lose , bouncy ball in front of goal that girl nicely knocked in, hard for keeper to defend one that close in. Rowdies was long shot from way out that zipped in side of net-nothing keeper could do. But I think Defense of both side played great today. FCD had big strong girls in back-really tall with good legs. Rowdies had speed and physicalness in the back. Great game to watch tho and both coaches behaved nicely.

i still dont get it. when i posted earlier the third game was in. just checked again and glotz still has more point that waco. so they are pool b 2nd and should play fcd. what am i missing?

Glotz tied Fever 0-0(4 pts), beat Waco 6-3(9 pts), lost Webb 0-2(0pts) total points 13.

Waco Blast beat Webb 1-0(8 pts), lost to Glotz 3-6(3pts), tied Fever 1-1(5pts) equals 16 total pts.

Waco Blast in on points because they never got shutout basically. It never went to head to head on tied record because they had more tournament points.6 points for a win, 4 points for a tie, 1 point for shutout, and 1 points for each goal up to a max of 3 goals is the point system.

Waco Blast is very good team, very fast forwards! They have the fastest forward I've seem in 02 socker. She beat Glotz's center defender 1v1 while dribbling the ball and Glotz center defender never gets out run, especially while someone is dribbling a ball....that girl was smokin fast! I personally think they will give FCD some problems. FCD is very good in middle and up front....if FCD has a weakness its their defence and with Waco's speed it can be exploited. They better not underestimate Waco or they will suffer the same fate as Webb did against them. Put you fastest defender on left side to guard Orange shoed Hispanic girl and give her back up help also. You control her and your probably ok. Big blonde in middle forward(guests with DT South a lot) is also very good and athletic. There goalie is also good and will come out at you. Waco's defenders are probably their weakness.

Webb was winning with a goal in the first half, with less than a min to go, Rowdies got a corner kick, with 22 girls in the box kicked it around about 10 times and got a handball in the box. Rowdies made the PK. Game over. Katt was not happy, had a loud conversation with the officals. Rowdies win in PK's. Katt did walk on to the field and congradulate the girls. DM walked over to the bench and gathered up his stuff (for those of you who wanted to know about the coaches).

I was at the game and time actually ran out and a handball was called in the box about a minute after time ran out.Webb02 actually dominated the entire game. Doubt that they would admit this on this forum, if the ones that made the statements are on this forum. Not a strong statement though, but a strong opinion.
