This is a good team and belongs near or at the top of the second tier. Time will tell as they will begin to play the other teams this week.
We're Clearly a 2nd Tier Team, but At or Near the TOP of the 2nd Tier, as you Said...Right Now, we're Ranked Dead Last, but Playing Solar, the Rowdies & Rosales Back to Back to Back is ALOT to Ask of Any Team...This Weekend, we've Got Texas Black Gold Elite, who's Also UNDEFEATED...
w/5 Games Left on the Schedule, we Should Go No Worse than 4-1, to Finish w/a .500 Record...Maybe Even 5-0!!!...Everybody Else is Gonna LOSE to Solar, the Rowdies & Rosales as Well, so we Still have a Good Chance @ Finishing 4th Place in SDL, which is a Pretty Good Achievement, Considering the Level of Competition...
GO SPIRIT!!!

Juventus Gold 04G Griffin 0 1 0
Sting 04G Mendoza(Mendoza) 0 3 0
And this is from DIAL.
Sting Goodman is 3-0. The scores have not been updated.
This team went undefeated and won Blue Sky Allen Indoor Championship this summer. Hopefully, they will play the Thanksgiving Tourney and see how they match up to the top teams.

The Sting team is very good, and I'd like to see all of the teams play the Thanksgiving event. PSA has some up and coming teams as well.Shekicks04 wrote:MrPaulson wrote:Juventus Black 04G(Lopez) 2 0 0

I saw LP 04G Beardsley play a sister LP 03 team this past Sunday in EAL action (my older DD plays on the 03 team). While Beardsley lost 2-1 they played BEAUTIFUL soccer against bigger and in some cases faster girls. This team's strength is their ability to play wide and pass which they do very well on a bigger field playing 9 v 9. It was very fun watching them play.
I just wanted to add before rankings come out as well the last rankings came out they were ranked higher then tbg but lp beardsley has never beaten tbg everytime we play tbg wins yet they get the better ranking so please make the rankings more accurate

TBGsoccer, since there is really no real formula for these rankings at this age... feel free to start this weeks rankings thread with your take on it. Obviously this is all in fun and a good way to get people talking, debating, etc.
As an aside, I was recently reminded of how at least some of our kids look at soccer... while we were driving I was asking my 05 DD to explain the offside rule and other tactical stuff. After my oral exam she asked me why we don't have snacks anymore after games like her rec team did. I just smiled and quickly came back down to youth soccer earth.
So while we parents (and I assume several coaches) like to debate rankings and such in the end this is truly all about little girls who love to play the beautiful game of soccer with their good friends.

My '05 is the same way, she stopped asking for snacks a long time ago (She packs her own... you should see her soccer bag), but does work me over for stops at QT/sonic/7-Eleven post game/practice and usually tries to get some of her friends to tag along with her.
