Traditional Platinum, Gold, Silver, etc... Typically 5 team brackets. May have multiple Platinum, or gold, etc. based on TD discetion.
Teams should play similar competition level.

Yes- that's correct. LFS and D'Feeters have a partnership.

-Glad to see most are skipping NTX IMPOSED seeding tournament.
-Surprised no more teams in Puma cup. Historically has had a many as King Tut, not sure what happened there.
-I understand Elite (Rase) skipping because we know where they rank, but Premier (Danglesh)? They definite needed to be play. Either extremely cocky or they have something to hide.

I mean, wouldn't the NTSSA lose credability (and future participation) if they tried to strong-arm teams into playing with the above statement, only to have no visible impact on LHGCL seeding?

More so in the last few years, KT has become the place to be. Yes, there are always a few outliers -- really not sure what DT South has to gain playing in PC, for example -- but for teams not already at peace with their seeding, or just wanting to see how they stack up now that the dust is settling, KT has become the tournament of choice. Although I haven't seen Dalglish since signing, I did get a chance to watch them play several games in June. If they look anything now like they did then, they'll be fine.

Re: NTX Seeding Showdown attendees
Good point...will we see some preference in seeding given to the teams that are participating in the "primary source" tournament? They did make that statement pretty clear. Guess we will have to see.SoccerDad75033 wrote:I would presume that since the seeding tournamnet "is a must as it will be the primary source for all seedings in this summer's qualifying tournaments," that NTSSA would give preference in seeding to teams who participate in this tournament.

I think they would make their point pretty clear if they put RASE, Scott, Spirit and Da Feet (LFS) in the same group the first week of QT (ultimately sending one or two to PPL), and make the teams that rank in the 30s on FBR top seeds in their groups (with even easier opponents)...that would be a real poop-storm...but would probably guarantee nearly 100% participation next year... :-)
I don't see that happening...but the fireworks would be fun to watch.

Quack!
I am sure Texas Spirit, D'Feeters Black, and DT Scott have no need to "put a little polish on their play" or "improve their seeding" to make it to D1.
Quack.

You almost typed that with what seems like conviction...but if that was the case for sure we know damn well Dalglish needs to be in one...
It could very well be tradition or taking the opportunity to actually "play" before the league starts...as a "select" squad.
But of course your DD's squad is the only one locked loaded and ready to aim at any target, no need for any polish tho right?
I'm just being "stirrish"Go...don't mind me lol...
