06southgirl wrote:Blues Fan there were no parental incidents between DTS and Solar Red and there were no red cards given during our game. I have appreciated all the positive remarks about the 06 group and the fact that the 06 parents have been supportive of other teams on here. If you would like to know the facts about the game please do ask and I will let you know.

Re: U90C Spring Kickoff tournament assessment
It was the first yellow anyone on our team has ever had. According to the ref (whom I spoke to after the game) he heard someone mouth off (no profanity or anything like that) so the ref pulled another yellow at the same time on a different kid. This child (who yes happens to be my own child) was not involved. She did not say anything, this was all along our sideline so we could hear. Even the girl marking her told her she did not do anything wrong. Yes, this made a parent on the team mad and the parent was asked to leave. I think most parents on our team were going to be ok with the first yellow, it was one of those situations where we could have agreed to disagree. But the second yellow we could not understand. After that.... every foul that happened he just pulled cards from that point on........not same kids, just pulled them. But there were no red cards, no child got two yellows or a red during the game.
Solar Red has a great team and we enjoyed playing them. I would like to compliment the left midfielder on that team.....my daughter marked her all game since she plays right mid. They both played some beautiful soccer and it was fun to watch!
DTS had a wonderful tournament and we enjoyed getting to meet parents on all the teams that we played. One of the best things about soccer is getting to see friends at the games even if you are on different teams.

Here is the clue, the first team got eliminated by second game on saturday. The other team scraped through on saturday and needed massive help to get through. I was there unfortunately for them.

You're bluffing. No player played for 2 teams in the same age group in the same tourney.

Re: U90C Spring Kickoff tournament assessment
And did everyone see kicks selecao and sting black (fuego) got invited to supercopa?
Any other NTX teams invited already?
Who does this group feel should be invited?

But I'll play along simply because the board has been so quiet.
From what we've seen so far from this tourney, I would think that any additional local invites will be a last resort to fill the tourney. I think they will continue to try and draw teams from out of the area 1st. After that, it all depends on what criteria the committee uses in selecting the remaining local teams. If it is based on this weekends results, I suspect it may be DTS and FCD Shepard/Hanlon. Solar Red, Pulp, and Kicks North all probably hurt their chances this weekend.
If the committee uses resume and past results, I believe all 3 have a stronger case than both DTS and FCD. Just my 2 cents

OK, the deadline has passed. Give up the goods. We don't need to see the video. Just give up the teams/coaches involved.Soccerates01 wrote:I am giving 24 hrs notice to Lance to come out clean. Don't quite understand the secretiveness of this. If you actually saw what you think you did, not only should you come clean, you have an obligation to do so.
By dropping little clues here and there, your information is only drivel and serves no purpose.
To go further, if you definitively saw a player that played for two teams I would have hoped that you went directly to the tournament director and stated what you saw. Anyone that participated in this tournament or plans to participate in future U90 tournaments deserves to know whether or not the tournament director ignored you. On the flip side, everyone deserves to know whether or not what you are saying is fact or if you are just wumming.
