Maybe they are trying to be like the big red club in the Dallas Texas area, it is all about the boys. Money from the girls is just extra spending money for the owner.

But explain this to me.. I went to public school so I'm having a difficult time wrapping my head around it. A group of players from 3 different teams decided to play together this weekend, their coach explained why .. and again he gets blasted. Yet, plenty of top 10 teams rolled the competition over & over again in very weak tourneys this summer and not one person thought to question their intentions. Some were publicly combing the fields for recruits, working out new players or simply getting touches in preparation of the fall season and/or Labor Day tourney. You and others have been kind enough to call out this group of players over & over again, but ignored others that were openly more blatant.
I don't know much.. but I do know that.

I agree though, no need to drag this on.. or act un-dudelike. It just made me wonder, nothing more. If in this scenario a person believes they are playing down, we can agree to disagree. But why are you only calling foul against one team? There have and will continue to be much better examples of that.. some of which I referenced, but all you hear are crickets. Kicks behavior is questioned at each & every opportunity regardless of the circumstances or validity . Just strikes me odd.

All time best? Wow! What did we win? 99 Rowdies and 03 SRSA get my vote. I didn't get to see the 95s. We are not even in the vicinity of these teams.

My prediction is up there. Pencil Solar Red in final, no clue on who the other team will be.

Re: U90C Spring Kickoff tournament assessment
Bracket A - Solar Red
Bracket B - Kicks North even without Seleco players
Bracket C - have to say that FC Dallas has the edge with the recent additions of several former Sting Black players
Wildcard - anyone of the remaining teams

Re: U90C Spring Kickoff tournament assessment
Sting Black had several player not avail this weekend, but has already qualified for Super Copa based on being a finalist. So Audrey entered Fuego in Super Copa QT instead of Sting Black.

BTW, the Kick North v Sting Fuego was one the best 06 soccer games I have seen played in terms of two teams trying play soccer. The passing, defending, and technical skill was really good.

Fuego wins or loses count against Black just like Magenta wins or loses count against Selecao.

It sounds like a good plan, it reminds me of another great program and coach.
The big challenge is getting parents that will not be hung up on 'B team' status. Good coaching and practicing against/ with top players should be enough of a draw, but parents are dumb.
Good luck to eveybody playing this weekend.
